We Should Be Mad As Hell and Telling The Main Stream Media We Aren’t Going To Take this Bias Anymore!

Scene From the Movie Network (1976)

About 30 years ago, there was a movie that almost detailed what we have today with the Main Stream Media (MSM).  Some of us are following the internet now but most of America still watches TV.  And through TV, the MSM has been able to make  a circus out of the news and reporting half truths.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y55/silverbeam/A%20CSM%20Blog/MediaBias109.jpgThe way that MSNBC has totally tilted their reporting to an almost cheerleading section for Barack Obama every night.  From Chris Matthews and the tingling going up his leg when he hears Obama speak to the pompus commentaries of Keith Olbermann who seeks to destroy all that do not follow his lead.  ABC’s Charlie Gibson who loves to smile when interviewing Joe Biden and has on the Harvard Professor glasses with guarded non-verbal knee crossing legs when interviewing Govenor Sarah Palin.  How about CBS Katie Couric who almost spooned fed Joe Biden in their interviews but gave Sarah Palin broad questions that anyone could have answered any and every way.  CNN has their panel of 7-8 inbred commentators (ie; Candy Crowley, Campbell Brown, Larry King) and much more that are easy to report the good side of Barack Obama and always question the bad side of John McCain.

It’s not right and we shouldn’t have to take it anymore!

The Obama supporters that read this will say “that isn’t true”, “that isn’t happening”….”Obama gets his share of negativity in the media” but then again we all know that isn’t true.  Obama supporters are so deeply rooted in their candidate that they can’t see the imbalance of the coverage.  In other words they have blinders on not allowing them to see the truth in any fashion.  It’s not the first time that has happened.  Republicans have done the same with George Bush and the Iraq War back in 2001-2003.  But right now, their blinders have stopped them from finding out the truth about their “socialist” candidate.

Honestly, It’s not right and we shouldn’t have to take it anymore!

http://thesituationist.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/obama-hand.jpg?w=183&h=120But the media is largely to blame for this entire mess.  In the movie Network (over 30 years old), an individual that works at a TV station has finally had enough and fell over the deep end to tell the entire TV audience that the media is controlling them with incorrect stories and insignificant events.  They lead stories that have take you on a trip of the best of Barack Obama and the truth as they develop it.  They tell you of Barack’s plan for America, Barack’s platform, Barack’s health plan, Barack’s economic package.  They get experts that pander to Barack’s point of view to make you understand Obama’s plan so that you won’t have any questions.  These same experts discredit John McCain’s view easily as a total dismissal.  “the only truth that we get comes over the tube”….but then again that is not true.

Honestly, It’s not right and we shouldn’t have to take it anymore!

We’re in a lot of trouble in this nation.  The media is destroying the way we think for ourselves.  Most people on the internet have different avenues of finding the truth but there is a whole entire generation that loves the TV and not knowing it…..it’s destroying our minds.

Honestly, It’s not right and we shouldn’t have to take it anymore!

Obama is not the answer for this time.  We have been told that we have no other choice but we actually do.  If you do not want to vote for McCain, then if we all wrote in NONE OF THE ABOVE, the election committees would get the point.  Obama is not the messiah!  The masses need to get over it quickly.  He is not going to rein in a super fix on the problems that we face.  He has led the country over the last 20 months with slogans, bumper sticker cliches and teleprompter speeches.  His campaigned destroyed the Clinton’s.  His campaign surrogates and the media along with Chris Matthews led the lie that Clinton was racists in a statement that had to do with “fairytale”.  Don’t believe me, read this then………..

http://www.courier-journal.com/blogs/books/uploaded_images/clinton-706064.JPGQUESTION: Thanks. One of the things
that Senator Obama talks about a lot is judgment and I’m curious to hear your
thoughts on the recent criticism of Mark Penn, who is Hillary’s chief
strategist, who’s been criticized for being somewhat out of touch with reality.

For instance, he circulated a memo
about Iowa,
saying “Where’s the balance,” [sic: bounce] and then the next day,
there was a 12-point jump for Obama.

CLINTON: He was wrong. He was wrong about
that, because the balance [sic] always occurs on the second day, not the first
day. It always occurs on the second day, not the first day.

But since you raised the judgment
issue, let’s go over this again. That is the central argument for his campaign.
“It doesn’t matter that I started running for president less than a year
after I got to the Senate from the Illinois
state senate. I am a great speaker and a charismatic figure and I am the only
one that had the judgment to oppose this floor [sic: war] from the beginning,
always, always, always.”

First, it is factually not true that
everybody that supported that resolution supported Bush attacking Iraq
before the U.N. inspectors withdrew. Chuck Hagel [NE] was one of the co-authors
of that resolution, the only Republican Senator that always opposed the war,
every day, from the get-go.

http://graphics.boston.com/resize/bonzai-fba/Globe_Photo/2008/02/18/1203381425_9099/539w.jpgHe authored the resolution to say
that Bush could go to war only if they didn’t cooperate with the inspectors and
he was assured personally by [then-national security adviser] Condi Rice, as
many of the other Senators were. So, first, the case is wrong that way.

Second, it is wrong that Senator
Obama got to go through 15 debates trumpeting his superior judgment and how he
had been against the war in every year, enumerating the years and never got
asked one time, not once, “Well, how could you say that when you said in
2004 you didn’t know how you would have voted on the resolution? You said in
2004 there was no difference between you and George Bush on the war and you
took that speech you’re now running on off your Web site in 2004 and there’s no
difference in your voting record and Hillary’s ever since.”

Give me a break.  Honestly, It’s not right and we shouldn’t have to take it anymore!

Matthews and a host of others including African American leaders went on to say that Bill was referring to Barack’s candidacy as a fairy tale for a black man to make it this far.  This spread like brush fire among the black community and painted the Clintons in a very bad light, even though it was not true.   Obama did nothing to help clear it up either.  They made Hillary into the villian and the media  joined in the fray.  This spread to John McCain and Sarah Palin very easily due to the fact that the media was more experienced now in protecting their interest with Obama.  They turned John McCain into the villian on day one as with Sarah Palin.  NBC/MSNBC who Palin has yet to do an interview with, keeps durmming up made up ideas and garbage to “get back at her for not appearing on their network”.  ABC and CBS have tried to discount her knowledge of being a reformer and a maverick while having a job as a mayor and Governor of her state.  They sought to trip her up as they are doing with Joe the plumber right now.  They want the other side to fail and they want to report on things in a way that the public will say that all this is smoke screens and Barack Obama is the only and real choice.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2248/1727998421_1e11348197_o.jpgThey have even started to manufactor poll leads to make people think that the race is over.  Polls that somehow have Obama with a lead of 10 or more points is just crazy.  The media grabs onto those results and reports heavily on them.  They put them on their websites knowing that people will not only watch the TV but check their websites for poll listings and data.  This is one of the many farces that they accomplish on a daily basis.

Honestly, It’s not right and we shouldn’t have to take it anymore!
